You will drive straight to Serengeti National Park passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will explore the vast Serengeti with its endless plains looking for the big cats. The Serengeti hosts the largest mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for popular African safaris. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains seasonally. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can hold them back. After lunch and further game drive, you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay. You will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhinos can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species.
